But his triumph was soon overshadowed by an unexpected obstacle—a swiftly flowing river blocking his path home. As he gazed into the rippling waters, he saw a strange sight—a reflection of himself, mirrored back with the bones in his mouth. Mistaking his own reflection for another dog intent on stealing his treasures, he unleashed a barrage of frantic barks, hoping to intimidate the imagined intruder.
In his frenzy, however, he lost his grip on the precious bones, watching in dismay as they were swept away by the unforgiving currents, beyond his reach. Thus, in a cruel twist of fate, his greed and jealousy led to his own downfall, leaving him empty-handed and humbled by the harsh realities of the world.
