Like every other Social medial - TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter etc. Google Search Engine works based on suggestion and user interest. What do I mean by that?
Let take a look at the real life example, When you go to the shop to buy a packet of Chew gum, Shopkeeper will present you with many options, if you ask him which one is the best, he will give you the most sold one. If he is working on commission with some Gum company, he will suggest you buy that one,
Exactly the same way, Google or any other search engine works.
When you search for the word "Cleaning", It will present you with list of most viewed sites with highest user retainment. It mean how much time did users before you spent on those websites. If users before you did spend lot of time in those websites means they found those interesting and useful so Google suggests you the links with highest user retain percent e.g. 90%, 80%, 70% etc.
On the other hand, If Some Cleaning company or cleaning product company has paid Google to advertise their product and services. It will come up on the top when you search for it.
So, take away for you from this example is that, if you are selling cleaning products, make sure you have offered other users best price, good products and good service. If 90% of users are converted into your customers, Google thinks your website is good. Same like we think, that shop has good product and service.
Same principle applies to all the other sites - Blog, Service, Video Channels etc.
