The King who won the race

Once upon a time in the land far far away, Famous King George used to rule the country. He had two sons - Harry and David.

David was the youngest prince and He was not so interested in politics so the King assigned him the duty of stables.

He was very happy on his duty.

One day, David was in his duty taking care of horses. Poor and hungry Saint came to stable begging. Prince asked him what he wants so beggar asked for food.

While prince was organising some food for him, Beggar asked why is he in stable, rather than being in Palace and having fun.

Prince replied saying he is an useless person and doesn’t know anything about running the country.

Beggar replied to him saying nobody is born perfect. You have to learn things in your own way. You just need to have courage, patience and persistence to do that. Just like farmer grows foods from dry land. It doesn’t just happen over night, he has to dig the land, plant seeds, water them, nourish them and protect them from disaster then it happens.

With his wise few words Beggar thanked him for the food and left.

That got the prince thinking and encouraged him to do something in his life on his own.

One day, he heard that another Kingdom which is ruled by Ghal tribe is choosing the king based on the running game. Whoever wins the game will be crowned as the king. He saw the real opportunity there so expressed his interest to participate in the game. Since he was from the different tribe, tribe people didn’t like the idea of him participating in the game but they made the appearance call.

Prince was very skinny and shorter than any other men in the tribe so people thought he has no chance so they let him participate in the race.

Prince shocked everyone by winning the game and became the king of that Kingdom.

An year later, His father died and his older brother - Harry became the king of his father’s kingdom.

King Harry wasn’t very happy about his brother being the king of another country. So he ordered his younger brother - king David to merge his Kingdom to his but young prince declined the offer. So the quarrel between two countries started. They were about to go on the war.

Luckily, their mother was still alive so Queen mother took both of her sons to the river between two countries and said you both grew up drinking milk from my breast so you both have to respect the drop of the milk spilled into this river and never to cross this river again. Both couldn’t deny their mother’s wish so they went on their separate ways and live happily ever after.
