At least 150 people killed and and more than 130 others were injured after crowd surge in Itaewon, a popular district in Seoul for locals and foreigners for cuisine and nightlife.
More than 100k people were gathered in the neighbourhood to celebrate Halloween - It was the biggest crowd since the loosen up of the COVID - 19 restriction.
Local media outlets report that the crowd surge is believed to have taken place off of a main street, in a narrow alley filled with bars and restaurants.
